As you may have noticed, I've added many new smilies for your use.
To select a smilie from the function to the left of the message area you may do so a few different ways --
1. Choose a smilie code name from the drop down menu in "Select Smilie". The smilie you chose will appear in the viewing area, and if you want to add it to your post, click on it. If the one you chose is not what you wanted, you can chose another from the drop down menu.
Note that clicking on a code name through the "Select Smilie" function only puts the smilie into the smilie viewing area and does not insert it into your post. To insert it into your post you must click on the smilie in the viewing area.
- OR -
2. Click on "View All Smilies" at the bottom of the smilie viewing area. A pop-up box will appear that shows all the available extra smilies.
Unfortunately, although all the smilies load, it sticks in loading mode for eternity. You should be able to click on the smilie of your choice anyway and the code appear in the post message window, but occasionally it won't allow you to do a left click. If that happens you can right click on the smilie you want and choose "View Image" from the drop down menu. Another preview box opens showing the smilie you chose which you can just close as chosing the "View Image" function inserts the proper smilie code into the post message window.
Eventually I'll get around to try fixing the script so the pop-up preview window doesn't get stuck in a perpetual loading mode cycle.
3. Once you become familiar with the simple codes that active the smilies you like to use, you can also just type the appropriate code in your post.
Thank you for your patience until I can get an opportunity to work out the bug in the script for displaying smilies.
If there is anything you don't understand about these instructions, you can ask by replying below and I'll help you out.
