You've probably been wondering what that little red button is with the white "X" in it that sits next to the PM button. That's the ignore feature so anyone can put another member on ignore by clicking that button in the mini-profile to the left of a post made by someone you want to ignore.
Putting someone on ignore makes their posts invisible to you, and they also won't be able to send you PM's. There posts still remain in the threads, but all you will see is their mini-profile and a message where their post would be that says you have put that member on ignore. The ignore button with the "X" also changes to a button that says "OK". Clicking the "OK" button removes the member from your ignore list.
Unfortunately, the script for the ignore function works with your cookies, so if you login on a different computer or clear your cookies, you will lose your ignore list and need to put those people back on ignore. I'm trying to figure out a script that doesn't work with your cookies so that the people you put on ignore stay there no matter what computer you use to login or when you periodically clear your cookies. So far I'm not having much success, but I'm still working on it. I'm not sure it's possible to do since the ignore function script is basically a hack -- the ProBoards don't actually offer an ignore function at all.
