Since the U.S. Department of Homeland Security was involved and federal agents Ann Hurst and Gary Philips were involved, and since they both said on 48 hours that Karr confessed to them in an interogation room... why wasn't Karr charged with lying to federal agents?
Either: 1. They are lying 2. Theres more to the story (Because its not standard procedure for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to get involved in a Boulder, Colorado homicide)
Now I've read that DHS is a "...cabinet department of the federal government of the United States with the responsibility of protecting the territory of the United States from terrorist attacks and responding to natural disasters."
Now unless what the ransom note said about JonBenet's killer being from a small foreign faction was true, I don't think the U.S. Department of Homeland Security should be involved.

I'm not sure what to believe about that, paco. However, where the government is concerned, anything is possible.
